Yes. We offer a full range of packing supplies, including boxes and protective materials, available from our office during opening hours.
What size storage unit do I need?
The size you need depends on what you’re storing. Smaller units are ideal for boxes and personal items, while larger units can accommodate furniture, household contents, or business stock. Callout during office hours to view the different sizes and our team will be happy to advise if you’re unsure.
How secure is the storage facility?
Security is a top priority. Our facility features CCTV monitoring, individual unit locks, and a gated compound to help protect your belongings around the clock.
How long can I rent a storage unit for?
We offer flexible rental terms to suit both short-term and long-term storage needs. Whether you need storage for a few weeks or several months, we can accommodate you. Discounted rates are available for all long-term contracts.
What items are not allowed in storage?
For safety and legal reasons, hazardous or flammable materials, illegal items, perishable goods, and live animals are not permitted. If you’re unsure about a specific item, please contact us before storing it.
Do you accept deliveries or manage collections?
Yes. We can manage deliveries and collections on your behalf, allowing you or your team to remain in the field without needing to be on site.
When can I access my storage unit?
Access is available 7 days a week from 6am to 8pm, giving you flexibility to store or retrieve items when it suits you. Outside these hours, the site remains closed and is monitored by our security partner, Resure.
Is the storage suitable for business use?
Absolutely. Our storage units are ideal for businesses needing space for stock, equipment, or archives, with secure facilities and easy access for deliveries.
Is there insurance on the contents?
Yes. StorageBox offers insurance options for items stored at our facilities. A basic level of cover is required unless you can provide proof of existing insurance that specifically includes your storage unit.
Are the units insulated?
Yes. Our insulated containers are designed to protect stored items from temperature extremes and moisture caused by condensation. However, they are not actively heated or cooled.
How does the deposit work?
A deposit equal to 4 weeks’ or 1 month’s storage (depending on your billing cycle) is required upfront, in addition to your first payment. The deposit is refunded at the end of the rental, once the unit is emptied and inspected.
